2 Module functionality

Module type Function Application
Receive module
Reception and display of layer-2 messages in the order of their time of reception (scroll mode)
Display of the received messages sorted according to identifier (overwrite mode)
Display of modifications in the data fields of the received messages
Monitoring of cycle time of individual messages
Display of data in different forms (hexadecimal, decimal, ASCII)
Display of the total number of messages received (scroll mode) or the number of messages per identifier (overwrite mode)
Observation and analysis of the bus traffic
Transmit module
unique or cyclic transmission of CAN messages
Tests of nodes
Generation of busload
Trace module
parallel message recording from several buses
Configuration of various triggers for automatic starting or stopping of trace recording
Display of the traced messages
offline analysis of the bus traffic
analysis of a communication cycle of several buses
Sequencer module
Time- or message-controlled transmission of message sequences on the basis of a simple script language
Creation of message sequences for testing and simulation of network nodes (very user-friendly test tool)
Statistic module
Online display of bus parameters
Measurement of the busload and determination of the message distribution (graphic and numerical)
Signal module
Numerical online display of the data transmitted in the CAN-messages ("signals") in the form of physical/logical parameters. Description of the interpretation rules in a so-called "project database"
Simple analysis of the data transmitted in a network ("signals") on the basis of physical/logical parameters (service and diagnosis)
Graphic module
Graphic online-display of the data transmitted in the CAN-messages ("signals") in the form of physical/logical parameters.
Simple analysis of the development over time of a signal transmitted in a network on the basis of physical/logical parameters (service and diagnosis)
CANopen module
Display and interpretation of CAN-messages according to CANopen-standard
Test of CANopen-networks
