To view the development over time of individual signal values and the relation
between the signals, the Graphic module offers graphic display. Insert the
Graphic module into your canAnalyser configuration and start it.
Before the module can be used a database must be loaded. Load the previously
created file "SampleDB.xml".
In addition the signals to be displayed must be selected in the Graphic module:
Either
|
select the menu point Functions | Select Signals...
or |
|
use the button
in the toolbar. |
In the dialog that appears, the available variables are listed on the left.
These are included in the selection on the right after selection and clicking
the >> button. Below this it is possible to select in which color
and in which coordinate system the signal is to be displayed. When these
settings have been made for all three signals, close the dialog box and start
the Graphic module. The message source is again the script file
"Signal.prf", whose processing you start in the Sequencer module.
The program window of the Graphic module is divided in two. The top half shows
the signal values in their development over time, whereas in the bottom display
area the saved database variables and the current values are displayed in text.
After stopping the display via Functions | Stop, you can also
analyze the data more closely. Scroll and zoom to a time period to be
evaluated. Position the cursor with one mouse click on the graph to determine
exact variable values. These are issued in the Graphic module in the lower part
of the window under Cursor value.
