The Statistic module enables the display of the busload and of error frames over
a definable period of time. In addition, the message distribution, sorted
according to identifiers can be shown per time unit. Via these functions it is
thus possible to make certain statements on the quality of the system design
and the design of the CAN-network.
Insert the Statistic module into your configuration and start it. In the opening
view, there is a display area under its menu- and toolbar, in which the busload
and the occurrence of error frames is shown. To achieve a significant display
here, start the script "Busload.prf" in your Sequencer module. This script is
part of the archive file with the configuration files and can be downloaded
from here.
In the view Busload the development over time of the busload in per cent
and of the Error-Frames per second is displayed. If Error-Frames have been
received, these are shown in red.
During processing of the script, switch to the view Messages/s. Here the
number of received messages per second is plotted over the message identifier.
In the view Messages, all messages during the observation period are
displayed cumulatively and plotted over the message-identifier.
In the lower part of the display window the statistic parameters are shown in
numerical form.
